Nablus in Need
Dundee-Nablus Twinning Association (DNTA) is responding to the current economic crisis in Nablus by sending donations to help some specific projects. We are working in conjunction with FONSA‘s Nablus in Need appeal. On Monday 15th Jan 2024, Israeli occupation forces entered the An Najah National University campus in Nablus. They arrested several students and assaulted some staff members.

Challenges of the media
Masa Turabi is a young Palestinian woman who lives and speaks to us live from Nablus in Palestine. She has recently graduated with a specialism in media. As a student, she volunteered with a Palestinian charity which has implemented some of DNTA’s projects in Nablus.

Anxious times
Our role is to encourage friendship and understanding, and it seems that is currently in short supply. With so much news about Palestine it is hard to know what to say in a few words. Most reports are from Israel and Gaza, but Nablus is also affected.
