We are very sad to report that Mary Henderson – a vital member of DNTA for many years, died peacefully on Wednesday 8th October aged 91, surrounded by family.
Her main contribution to our work started when she went to Nablus in March 2004 as part of a small official delegation charged with reviving the links between our two cities. With her characteristic vigour and enthusiasm, she served as Secretary for many years; she helped to rebuild DNTA for which we are so grateful.
It is fitting that we last met her at the Civic Reception held by the Lord Provost to celebrate 30 years of the Association.
