Artworkers for Palestine Dundee: Palestine Reading Circle

Join a peer-led study group, sharing historical accounts, as well as stories, poetry, posters, films and music by Palestinians.

Each month will build our understanding of how Palestine has been shaped through periods of colonisation, partition, occupation, resistance and revolution. Together, we’ll study the people’s history of Palestine, the creativity and diversity of the Palestinian resistance, and how to use our learning for greater solidarity. Our first three sessions will lay the foundations: exploring Palestine’s archaeological record, the rise of Zionist ideology as analysed by Palestinians, and the context and effects of the Balfour declaration.
This reading circle is a volunteer-run collective education project organised by members of Art Workers for Palestine Dundee, in support of the liberation of Palestine. All who share this goal are welcome to join us.

Monthly, every third Monday, 6-8pm
First three dates: 16 Feb, 16 Mar, 20 Apr
Dundee Meeting House, 9 Whitehall Crescent
Hosted by Art Workers for Palestine Dundee
