Following their previous success in raising funds to provide an ambulance and medical centre for the refugee camps, the Boulder-Nablus Sister City Project (BNSCP) embarked on another ambitious fund raising campaign.
This time, they will replace a specialised fire truck that can operate in the narrow streets of Nablus’ four refugee camps and the Old City. The current truck is over 50 years old and coming to the end of its useful life.
BNSCP have raised $110,000 and the truck is currently being constructed and fitted out in Nablus. Hopefully, by the time you read this, it will have been delivered to Nablus Fire Department and will be saving lives around the city.
