Falastin Film Festival in Dundee & NE Fife

This September, Falastin Film Festival is coming to Dundee and North East Fife!

From 24-27 Sept, join us to celebrate Palestinian cinema and culture in a programme of films, talks, workshops and performance co-curated by Art Workers for Palestine Dundee.

Gather to mobilise against Zionist colonisation while learning from Palestinian resistance, cultural pride, stories of love, and, in the words of poet Rafeef Ziadah, teachings of life.

Get the dates in your diary and book your tickets now:

Opening the festival, join ‘Gaza Lives!‘ at ScrapAntics Community Space for a meal and screening of ‘One More Show’ with short ‘Soft Skin’, supported by Dundee Nablus Twinning Association.

On Friday, at Byre Theatre in St Andrews, experience Farah Saleh’s performance ‘Balfour Reparations’

Forgan Arts Centre and Scrap Antics host ‘Birds of Palestine’, a family session of short films and crafting in solidarity on Saturday afternoon in collaboration with Feminist Bird Club Dundee.

Take part in ‘Energy for Liberation’ at Forgan Arts Centre on Saturday evening: film, food and conversation about oil, energy and activism includes Razan Al-Salah’s ‘A Stone’s Throw’ and speakers from Platform, Friends of the Earth Scotland and Energy Embargo for Palestine.

Drop in to a film installation at Generator Projects on Sunday, and close out the festival with an evening event of short films, food and discussion, ‘Gaza Transmits’

Explore the programme and get your tickets at falastinfilmfest.com. Please help us spread the word by sharing this announcement and the attached poster.
